Etiquette

  • Allow everyone to express their opinions and concerns in a friendly manner.  Treat everyone on the listserv with the same respect you expect.
  • Be sure your name, affiliation and location are included on emails that you send.
  • Include a specific and concise subject line for each email.  This will allow others to delete emails regarding topics that are not of interest to them.

  • Try to keep the length of your email to a minimum or warn readers in the subject line that the body of the email is long.

  • Please double check to make sure personal replies are not going to the listserv.
  • Use professional language when discussing commercial products or services.  Clearly identify within your posting if your comments are opinions based on experience, judgments based on experience and how you gathered the data upon which your comments or judgments are based.
