Tena McNamara, AuD

Coordinator, Cultural and Informational Hearing Center — Peoria, IL

Dr. Tena McNamara is the coordinator of the Cultural and Informational Hearing Center in Peoria, IL. She retired as an associate professor from the Communication Disorders and Sciences Department at Eastern Illinois University and as an educational audiologist with the Special Education Association of Peoria County. She has been a practicing audiologist for over 40 years and has held dual certification in speech-language pathology for 33 years. She co-chaired the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) 2021 Convention and the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) 2010 and 2011 Conventions. She has served as President of ASHA, ISHA, and EAA.

Kim Ward, AuD, CCC-A

Associate Professor of Audiology, The University of Southern Mississippi

Dr. Kim Ward, AuD, CCC-A, is an Associate Professor of Audiology at The University of Southern Mississippi and serves as Vice President for Academic Affairs in Audiology on the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Board of Directors. Her work focuses on pediatric and educational audiology, interdisciplinary training, and improving access to care through health literacy. An ASHA Fellow and National Academies of Practice Distinguished Scholar Fellow, she is committed to advancing the profession through research, mentorship, and clinical education.
