EAA currently awards an annual scholarship of up to $2,000 to a third or fourth year AuD student desiring to pursue educational and/or pediatric audiology. Fourth-year placements in educational audiology are typically unpaid, and students often choose paid externships rather than pursuing placements in an educational setting.

The Doctoral Scholarship sponsored by the Educational Audiology Association is awarded on an annual basis and is funded solely through EAA member donations. The number and amount of scholarships will be determined annually. The minimum amount per scholarship is $500, and at least one will be awarded annually.

This financial assistance is also available to practicing educational audiologists who are pursuing a doctoral degree in an area that may advance the field of educational audiology and/or benefit educational audiologists.
