Matching Challenge for our Student Scholarships!
EAA has a donor that has agreed to match incoming gifts to the EAA student scholarship dollar-for-dollar to establish an endowed scholarship! Incoming gifts will be matched up to $20,000 until December 31, 2021. If you have not donated yet this year and are thinking of doing so, this is a great time to take advantage of this dollar for dollar matching opportunity.

EAA currently awards an annual scholarship of up to $2,000 to a third or fourth year AuD student desiring to pursue educational/pediatric audiology. Fourth-year placements in educational audiology are typically unpaid and students often choose paid externships rather than pursuing placements in an educational setting. With your donation and the matching donation, EAA would like to be able to award one to two scholarships up to $4,000!
The Doctoral Scholarship(s) sponsored by the Educational Audiology Association will be awarded on an annual basis. This financial assistance is available to practicing educational audiologists who are pursuing a doctoral degree in an area that may advance the field of educational audiology and/or benefit educational audiologists. The number and amount of the scholarship(s) will be determined annually.
Recently, EAA has restructured the Doctoral Scholarship to provide financial assistance to AuD students in good standing who are pursuing a 4th year placement in an educational audiology setting.
This scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis and is funded solely through EAA member donations. The number and amount of the scholarship(s) will be determined annually. The minimum amount for scholarship(s) will be $500 and at least one will be awarded annually.
The majority of educational audiology 4th year externships are not paid positions, please consider making a donation today to the EAA AuD Scholarship Fund and support our future educational audiology colleagues!
